About Double Helix

Double Helix Games is an independent game studio with a history that stretches back almost 20 years.  The studio formed officially when Shiny Entertainment, creator of classic games like Earthworm Jim, Sacrifice, MDK and Enter the Matrix, merged with The Collective, Inc., makers of Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, Star Wars Episode III:  Revenge of the Sith, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Working in HEXengine, a cutting edge, proprietary set of tools, pipelines and runtime, we specialize in action games for the latest console generation and for PC.  Fueling the creativity, design, and technical excellence that drives all our games, Double Helix is home to 75 developers in sunny Orange County, California.  Most recently, we shipped Battleship for Activision, and Green Lantern:  Rise of the Manhunters for Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.  Currently, we’re working on two amazing projects that are tightly under wraps.

We are underway on fantastic new games, with an awesome work environment, frequent studio events and activities, terrific benefits, and a spirit of independence and creativity in everything we do.
