Players utilize an array of exciting constructs in Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, which Hal Jordan is able to materialize into being using sheer willpower alone.  Using an engaging system based upon gathering increasing amounts of experience to unlock ever more powerful constructs, players can be sure that the game continually remains fresh until the very end, due in part to the large number of constructs that can be custom mapped and combined in numerous ways in order to take down ever more powerful foes.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is easy to pick-up-and-play and features a fantastic combat system offering many layers of depth to master in the combo system for novice and veteran players alike.  Success, rewards, achievements and experience hinges on the player’s ability to string together freeform light and heavy attack chains that can transition back and forth between the use of outlandish constructs powered by Hal Jordan’s willpower.

Take Flight

  • Soaring across the universe in intergalactic flight, gamers will dodge past asteroids and blast through planets while destroying armies of Manhunters.

Team Up and Battle Together

NEW – Co-operative gameplay comes to Front Mission Evolved™

The Last Stand co-operative add-on for Front Mission Evolved™ pits you and a friend against an all-out incursion of enemy wanzers in the middle of the frozen tundra of the Antarctic.  Last Stand will stress the wits and endurance of you and a partner to the absolute limit.  Although best experienced with a buddy, the mode also enables players to play ‘lone-wolf’ style, by using the Private Match option within the Multiplayer menu.  In Last Stand, players will share a common trove of lives, placing the emphasis squarely on team work and coordination.  After downloading from the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace, the PlayStation® Store or on PC via Steam®, Last Stand will fit seamlessly in with the rest of the standard multiplayer games modes in your Multiplayer menu.

Last Stand is all about the score.  You will be aided on this quest for the perfect score with a series of multipliers that can be earned during gameplay:  Annihilation, Kill Streak, and Destruction Spree.

Destroying any body part on an enemy wanzer before the torso will net you an impressive Annihilation modification your overall score.  This multiplier will continue to increase,  provided that at least one other limb is taken out of commission first, for every successive wanzer destroyed!  The Kill Streak multiplier will increase with each successive wanzer destroyed in a row.  Last but not least, Destruction Spree will be awarded when destroying wanzers within 10 seconds of each other.  While there is ample opportunity to grow your score – players will find doing so increasingly difficult as they progress through the waves.  Dispatching enemy Wanzers is the easy part.  But if you can keep your cool during the chaos and manage to destroy every limb on an enemy Wanzer before destroying their torso, you will be handsomely rewarded with an Obliteration Bonus.  Finally, Last Stand will add an all new Leaderboard for you and your friends to track and compare high scores!  Use this new leaderboard to prove to your friends, and enemies, who has the best team – once and for all!

NEW – Map Pack Add-On for Front Mission Evolved™

The Map Pack for Front Mission Evolved™ includes two never before seen multiplayer stages: Desert and Docks.  The Map Pack will be playable with all four multiplayer modes:  Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Supremacy and Domination.

The Desert and Docks maps revisit familiar territory from the single player campaign, but this time with an all new design and layout streamlined for multiplayer action!

Set amidst an urban environment, the Docks are rife with cranes, freight containers and a dense network of buildings that leave no shortage of places to skate, snipe, ambush and wage all out war from.  Multiplayer matches here will play out against the dramatic backdrop of a fiery orange sky and the Manhattan skyline in the distance.

The Desert map presents all new challenges to players with its numerous coves, nooks and crevasses to hide between.  Well balanced between long open sections of space and large walled in areas that can be employed as cover, Desert offers players numerous opportunities to devise and employ unique strategies to defeat their enemies.

Beware of precipices however; players must remain sure footed around the canyon edges here, as the main playable area is flanked by sheer cliffs that drop steeply into the ocean.

Players can expect to see the Map Pack on Steam®, the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and the PlayStation® Store on November 24th!

MX vs ATV® Reflex™ is coming to a PC near you!

Double Helix is excited to announce that we have partnered with Rainbow Studios and THQ to bring you the critically acclaimed and ultimate motocross racing experience in MX vs ATV® Reflex™, on Windows PC via Steam®, this winter.

New Patch for Front Mission Evolved™

Hello Everyone!

As many of you may have already noticed, if you run Front Mission Evolved™ on PC, your game may have patched itself recently on Steam®.  Console users can expect to see this patch in the near future.  This post aims to clear up any questions about what was addressed in this patch with a brief list of changes.

EDIT: Previously available only on PC and PS3, we’re happy to announce that, beginning on 11/19/10, this patch is also available for Xbox 360 users as well!

  • First and foremost, issues regarding irregularities in multiplayer lobbies have been resolved and integrated into this patch.
  • Issues regarding not launching into gameplay after leaving a lobby have been resolved and integrated into this patch.
  • All bazooka weaponry has undergone a damage reduction of 30%.
  • The requirement for an even number of players (over the minimum of four) to begin a multiplayer match has been removed.
  • Bug fixes.
  • Numerous fixes to improve player experience!
